What Better is
Better is a social, entertainment-only app for making friendly bets on football matches with friends. No real money is involved at any point. Better App doesn't process any payments. All bets are settled with user-defined prizes and penalties agreed between friends.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Better
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
- One account per person
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Use the app for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service
Bets and prizes
All bets are between friends for entertainment only. Better is not a gambling platform and does not facilitate, guarantee, or enforce any bet outcomes or prizes. Any disputes between users about bet results are between those users — Better has no liability.
The App provides some friendly sample prizes and penalties. Your friends can create new ones.
Ads
The app shows ads provided by Google AdMob. You may see personalized ads based on your device settings.
Intellectual property
The Better app, including its design and content, belongs to the developer. You may not copy or redistribute any part of it.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy of sports data, or uninterrupted service.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany.
